1. Divider Setup

Each divider has a rounded bottom corner designed to match the edges of the box.

  • Always insert dividers with the rounded side facing down towards the edge of the box.
  • Dividers are reversible, as long as the rounded edge is oriented correctly.
  • Shorter dividers are designed for the top compartment.
  • Taller dividers are designed for the bottom compartment.
  • The spool divider is designed for the bottom compartment.

Divider & Lid Removal

Lift the divider straight up evenly. The snug base fit prevents movement during use — slight resistance is normal.

💡 Correct orientation ensures a tight fit and prevents hooks or gear from shifting between compartments.

2. Tacklebox Wristband Removal

Note: The tacklebox is intentionally snug and may be harder to remove when not being worn. For easier removal, ensure you are wearing the bracelet and use your wrist as leverage. The snug fit helps maintain a secure connection as the snap-fits naturally wear over time.

To Remove Tacklebox from Base:
Ensure the switch lock is unlocked (upward position) and the box is closed.

Firmly and gradually apply pressure on the back hinge while applying pressure on the front of the wristband base to disengage the box.
Note: The bracelet is easier to remove when worn and loaded with tackle.

Once unlocked, slide the box out of the base. The snap-fit channels narrow at the opening to prevent the box from sliding off.

Align the snap-fit prongs with the channel openings on each side of the wristband base. Gently push or wiggle the box into the initial snap-fit catch. 

While holding the back of the wristband base, press the front of the box into the base until it clicks securely into place. Ensure box is locked (downward position) to secure the box and prevent it from disengaging from the base while casting.

3. Using the Spool/Spool Divider

Important Note

The divider spool is designed to be used in the bottom compartment of the tacklebox.

  • Recommended line: 4-12 lb mono or fluoro; 4-20 lb braid
  • Approximate capacity: 3-6 feet of line per spool

How to Spool Line onto the Spool

Using your preferred spooling knot, tie your fishing line to the center of the spool.

Wrap the line evenly from side to side, similar to spooling a standard fishing reel. With the gear on the right, spool the line away from you for clockwise retrieval. Spooling the line toward you will reverse the reeling direction.

Tip: Spool the line with light tension to minimize line memory and excessive curling. If your mono/fluoro fishing line is old and curly from memory, gently stretch it out before wrapping it onto the spool. This helps the line lay smoother and reduces curling.

Once fully spooled, hold onto the fishing line against the spool to prevent unraveling. Leave about 1–2 inches of line available to grab later.

While holding the fishing line against spool, feed the end through the hole in the divider adapter.

Hold the spool and line while inserting it into the spool divider to prevent unraveling/tangles. 
Note: Some tangling during insertion is normal. Simply pull out the tangled line and reel it back onto the spool as shown in the next steps.

Pull out enough fishing line to remove any tangles or backlashes.

While holding the fishing line with light tension, turn the gear to reel in excess fishing line.

Remove the Spool Divider from Core Divider

  1. Lift from the tabs on both ends of the spool adapter divider.
  2. For easiest removal, pull spool divider upwards evenly or shimmy while pulling upwards.

4. Adjusting the Survival Bracelet Fit

The bracelet uses an adjustable slip knot for a one-size-fits-most fit.

To Tighten or Loosen:
Pull either end of the slip knot as needed.

💡 Always adjust from each end of the slip knot to keep the knot centered and secure.

5. Storage Pod Lid Opening & Closing

The lid features two locking nubs:

  • One locks the lid closed.
  • The other prevents the lid from sliding off when opening.

To remove the lid:

  • Lift gently underneath the tip of the lid while simultaneously sliding it off using the nail groove on top.

To close the lid:

  1. Insert the lid into the pod and slightly tilt upward.
  2. Allow the first nub to pass over the locking groove.
  3. Continue sliding until the second nub clicks/locks into place.

💡 A slight diagonal insertion makes closing smoother and reduces wear.

6. Important Reminder

This is a new way to carry tackle.

Always open the box upright to keep contents secure — just like a traditional tackle box.

7. Velcro Attachment Mini Line Cutter

  1. Clean the surface areas on the box and nail clipper to remove dust or debris.
  2. Peel the adhesive backing from the loop/fuzzy Velcro and firmly press it onto the box.
  3. Peel the adhesive backing from the hook Velcro and press it onto the back of the nail clipper on the same side of its keychain loop.
  4. Allow the adhesive to set for a few minutes.
  5. Press the Velcro together until secure — light pressure is all you need.

Note: For best adhesion, allow 10–15 minutes before heavy use. Excessive force isn’t necessary and may reduce adhesive life.

8. Clip-On Tacklebox

Attaching the Tacklebox

  1. Hold the tacklebox with the Entry Rail Side facing the clip.
  2. Align the rail with the clip track.
  3. Slide the box across the clip toward the locking points until fully seated.

As you slide:

  • The rail will guide into place.
  • The box will move into the locking points.

💡 Slide until fully seated and secure before use.

Removing the Tacklebox Quick Release

  1. Grasp the clip firmly.
  2. Locate the Release Side/overhanging edge.
  3. Press down on the Release Side of the box to disengage the locking points.
  4. While pressing, slide the box off in that same direction.

Pro Tip: For one-handed removal, press the box against your hip while pushing down and sliding it off. Alternatively, hold the clip and press down on the overhang side of the box to slide it off.

Important

  • The box is designed to slide in and out in one direction only.
  • Always attach toward the locking points and remove toward the Release Side.
  • Do not force the box in the opposite direction.
